Lady Lisle Room

We are delighted to introduce our exclusive private dining room, the Lady Lisle Room.
Named in honour of Dame Alice (Alicia) Lisle, who spent her last night in The Eclipse Inn
before being beheaded outside on the instructions of the notorious ‘Hanging’ Judge Jeffreys in 1685,
the Lady Lisle Room offers a superior dining experience for private parties, celebratory meals and special events.

Seating up to 18 guests around an elegant oval table, the Lady Lisle Room is available to hire free of charge,
but we take a £10 deposit per head to confirm your booking, along with full contact details.

Menu options per person are requested 7 days prior to your party’s arrival to ensure everyone’s favourite dishes can be enjoyed.
